The Real Cost of Skipping Maintenance
Property Damage
An unserviced system doesn’t tell you it has failed. It tells you when a fire does. By then, the damage is done.
Risk to People
A fire system that hasn’t been tested is a fire system you cannot rely on. The people in your building deserve better than an assumption.
Your Insurance Won’t Pay Out
If your system wasn’t properly maintained at the time of an incident, your insurer can deny the claim. Maintenance records are your evidence of compliance.
Regulatory Non-Compliance
Scheduled inspection is a legal and licensing requirement. Non-compliance means penalties, shutdowns, or loss of operating licence.
Every maintenance inspection includes FML’s certified system pass certificate.

Fire Extinguisher Servicing — Done Right
Fire extinguishers are the first line of defence in any building, but only if they work. FML operates one of the few automated filling systems in Trinidad and Tobago, ensuring every unit is charged to the precise pressure and specification required by the manufacturer and NFPA standards.
FML offers a free inspection programme for community members, small businesses, and organizations. Bring your extinguisher in or request a visit. Our team will inspect it at no charge and advise on condition, compliance, and next steps.
24/7 Support.
No Exceptions
Fire systems don’t follow business hours, and neither does our support line. FML’s 24-hour phone and WhatsApp hotline connects you directly with someone who can help, any time of day or night.
For issues that require a technician on site, our team will dispatch based on the nature and urgency of the fault. After-hours callouts are available at overtime rates.
* Conditions apply. In situations where an issue is too technical for remote guidance or is deemed critical, a technician will be dispatched.
All customers receive priority response.
Qualified Experts You Can Trust
Every FML technician is factory-certified to service your systems. We back every visit with rigorous, transparent documentation and an official FML Certified System Pass Certificate.
NFPA-Compliant Inspections
All inspections and maintenance work is carried out to NFPA standards — the same standards required by law, by insurers, and by fire authority regulations in Trinidad and Tobago.
Factory-Trained & Certified Technicians
Our technicians are trained directly by the manufacturers whose systems we install and service — Kidde, Mircom, Simplex, and others. Certification is not optional; it is a condition of working on any system in our portfolio.
Service Reports After Every Visit
A written service report is provided following every visit — documenting what was inspected, what was found, what work was carried out, and any recommendations for follow-up action.
Certified System Pass Certificate
On successful completion of inspection, FML issues a certified system pass certificate — NFPA-compliant documentation that satisfies insurance, regulatory, and facility management audit requirements.
All Brands. All Systems.
FML services fire protection and medical gas systems regardless of who installed them or which brand they are. If we did not install your system, that is not a barrier — bring us in and we will assess, service, and document it to the same standard.
