The Right Suppression Agent for Flammable Liquid Hazards
Foam suppresses flammable liquid fires by blanketing the fuel surface, cutting off oxygen, and sealing against vapour release and re-ignition. Where water cannot effectively suppress and the wrong agent makes a situation significantly worse, foam is the correct specification.
FML designs and installs fixed and semi-fixed foam systems for industrial, petrochemical, and commercial facilities across Trinidad and Tobago to NFPA 11. System design covers foam concentrate selection, proportioning equipment, discharge devices, and detection and activation infrastructure for each application.
