Medical Gas Systems

Medical Gas
Manifold
Systems

Automatic cylinder switchover systems for continuous oxygen, nitrous oxide, and nitrogen supply to facility pipelines. Designed to NFPA 99 by FML.

Designed to NFPA 99 Standard
System Overview

Uninterrupted Gas Supply Without Manual Intervention

A medical gas manifold connects high-pressure cylinder banks to the facility pipeline, reducing cylinder pressure to the clinical operating pressure required and maintaining a continuous, regulated supply at every terminal unit throughout the building.

When the duty bank reaches its depletion threshold, the manifold switches automatically to the standby bank. Supply to the pipeline continues without interruption. Clinical equipment keeps operating. The alarm panel notifies the medical gas coordinator that the depleted bank requires replenishment, but nothing at the point of care is affected.

Applications

Where Medical Gas Manifold Systems Are Required

General Hospitals

Oxygen and nitrous oxide manifolds as standard, with nitrogen supplied to theatres using pneumatic instruments.

Day Surgery and Private Surgical Facilities

The same medical gas infrastructure as hospital theatres, sized to your specific procedure profile.

Intensive Care and High-Dependency Units

High-volume continuous oxygen demand across all bed positions, sized for peak simultaneous flow.

Emergency Departments

Continuous oxygen supply at every resuscitation and treatment position regardless of simultaneous demand.

Dental and Oral Surgery Facilities

Dedicated nitrous oxide manifold with indexed outlets, scavenging, and monitoring for sedation procedures.

Care Homes and Long-Term Facilities

Piped oxygen supply that eliminates bedside cylinder management for residents requiring ongoing therapy.
